Travel Agent;- We are looking for a travel agent who is passionate about travel. You will manage travel requirements designed for business or vacation and will provide tourism and tour related services on behalf of our suppliers. The goal is to maintain our customers’ satisfaction and loyalty for future services.
Jobs salary: R 18.000,00 monthly
Type of contract: Permanent contract

Job responsibilities:
Planning and selling transportation, accommodation, insurance and other travel services
Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and inform them of the appropriate destination, means of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations
Providing relevant information, brochures and publications (guidebooks, local customs, maps, regulations, events, etc.) to travelers
Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payments/fees
Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary packages
Handle incoming travel problems, complaints or refunds
Attend travel seminars to stay on top of tourism trends
Enter data into our software and keep customer files
Communicate with tour operators
Keeping statistical and financial records
Achieving profit and sales goals
Requirements for Travel Agent position
- Proven work experience as a travel agent
- Excellent knowledge of computer reservation systems, GDS systems and e-travel
- Fluency in English. Multiple languages are an added advantage
- Strong selling skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
- Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
- Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or a related field
- Personal travel experience is an advantage
